Ancient records tell us that throughout the ages a few scholars and "wise men" have held knowledge that inc5B4luded the secrets of controlling one's own destiny. And because they were secrets, they were carefully veiled within metaphors and symbolic language.

Many who studied the secret knowledge only half understood it, and as these persons passed it on to others, that knowledge became increasingly diluted with misunderstandings and less helpful ideas.

In addition, most rulers resented any knowledge that threatened to dilute their own royal power. After all, the rulers in ancient times were usually believed to be descendents of the gods themselves. Admit that even commoners had the power to direct their own life? Not only didn't kings want to admit such things, they often went to great lengths to stamp out the teachings -- often by eliminating the teachers.

It may be that the kings were more fearful of this knowledge than they needed to be. After all, these "secrets" are openly taught today. Go into any bookstore and you'll find far more specific and useable instruction than many of the ancients ever had access to.

And yet, even with this knowledge available almost everywhere today, how many people actually use it? The kings were probably just being paranoid.

Nevertheless, there IS power in this knowledge, and it COULD unseat kings and rulers, if directed to that end.

The real secret is not in the knowledge itself. It's in the use of it. Not so much in the thoughts you think as it is in the consistent, stead445y focusing of those thoughts.
