Team Building Tactics - Making The Most Of More Of Your People

To accomplish the overall objectives given to them, your 'team' must be unified and know where they fit. Above all, they need to be clear on the importance of the overall team's performance, to the final result of any project.

Team Building Is Vital To Achieve Corporate Goals

If your company objective is the usual one, typically increased profits, team-based organizations can help you get there. There are specific ways to evaluate and improve your team building skills.

For instance, executive leadership must communicate their expectations of their team. Team building is not possible without clear and concise communication. As an example, is your team equipped with the appropriate resources to meet their goals? How do you know?

How do they get through to you when they need support? Included in the communication necessary for effective team building is discussion and interest showed by the leadership.

Get The Right People On The Team

Another important component to team building success, is ensuring that your team members fully understand why they are on the team and how they can use their individual skills to improve the team's performance. Assess their interest in participating, do they feel the mission is important and do they feel they will be better for it? Team building requires that the team feels that there are competent individuals on their team.

This trust is an important first step to team success. Do they understand the importance of collaboration and the group process expected of them? Are they clear on the role they each individually play in the success of the team. You must offer all team members a clear path to provide feedback.

Show Your Team You Recognize And Care

If you want team building to work for your organization you must be able to deA7Emonstrate that you value employees who take reasonable risks, unique solutions and creative thinking. If employees feel that rewards are in place only for workers who keep up with the status quo, don't expect much more than that.

Successful team building requires that all team members recognize their accountability as it pertains to the overall success of meeting goals.

Team building can do wonders for your employees and your business, whatever it is. Employees who really feel like they are part of something special will give back by 'owning' their part of the organization. Spend the time and the money, if needed, to train the people in your organization to operate in the team mind set.

Reward teams accordingly and if they do not reach their goals ramp up the training. Keep the lines of communication open and the goals clear and concise. Generally your employees will surprise you with their willingness to participate and when given the right tools and the appropriate resources you will probably be surprised at the results.

Team building is worth your time and it is the future. The traditional way of operating is becoming obsolete in the face of the results of team-building. Maybe it's as well get on board now and start developing the necessary skills, in yourself, to incorporate team building skills throughout your organization.

Building Self Confidence

Each of us has a reservoir of ability that we habitually fail to use. Failing to identify and develop our abilities contributes to many of the inferiorities that we feel. By building self confidence we can experience everything that we are and all we want to be.

If you think about all your abilities, from tying your shoe laces, to driving a car, designing a building, making new friends or speaking in public, the one common element to all ability is frequent and consistent application of the same activity. The self confidence is gained in accordance with the knowledge and ability to perform any action.

So the key to building self confidence is not some deep hidden ability that is unattainable to anyone. Achieving the level of self confidence that we all want takes commitment, motivation and effort. You have to really want it, focus on specific areas and work towards the goals.

What's stopping you?

Doubts, fear and a lifetime of negative unproductive thinking keep us operating far below our capabilities. To release the inner strength needed to sustain the motivation to gain knowledge and practice the activities involves some mental reprogramming. Taking those tired old unproductive negative thoughts and replacing them with powerful, success driven thinking. By installing new attitudes and new beliefs you will have the ability to build self confidence in any area of your life.

If you incorporate the new and improved thinking patterns, you can then project the attitude and outcome you want. Your mind will replace and push out your old thinking patterns. This will allow these new thoughts to be the dominate influence in your life. You will be one of the few people that will be able to tap into your inner reservoir of ability and project it at will. Building and projecting self confidence will become natural, confident, sharp and comfortable.

Now you can break "unproductive negative thinking patterns" in sports, motivation, self esteem, health, building self confidence and much more. You can literally reprogram yourself for a lifetime of success and achievement.

Start a Lunch Club in Your Office

Eating lunch during a busy work day can be a pretty dismal affair - fast food, something zapped in a microwave, or a meal at a restaurant are less than ideal choices, especially if you're trying to save money or eat healthy! But I have an idea that can solve all of these problems - an office lunch club! The idea behind a lunch club is for a number of coworkers to take turns providing a midday meal for the group to share.

This idea is brilliant! If your work place has a reasonably equipped kitchen, the first step is covered. Next, recruit a few coworkers who share your interest in freshly prepared lunches. Between yourselves, decide how many times each week the "club" will provide meals and which days will be an "on your own" day. So for example, if eight colleagues want to participate and Fridays are going to be an "on your own" day, each member will cook a meal for 8 every other week.

Some points to keep in mind:

*food allergies and strong dislikes
*will the group provide paper goods or will each bring their own?
*encourage members to keep a nonperishable entree in their desk, just in case the scheduled chef is sick or forgets
*choose a time frame during which lunch will be available since you may not all be able to eat at the same time
*if it happens that food is running low before everyone has eaten, consider larger portions or leaving a note as to what the portion size should be

And this is probably the best part - as a group you can decide what type of cuisine you would like to eat! Will you pick ethnic themes? Entrees selected from Weight Watchers, Cooking Light or South Beach cook books? Will you occasionally offer vegetarian dishes? Or will the fare just be a fun surprise to look forward to? Make your choices based upon what you most wish to accomplish. Is weight loss a goal? More varied lunch menus? Camaraderie among staff? Savin10FFg money? Let these considerations guide you! And remember to stay flexible - adjustments may be necessary as the group takes shape.

I just love the possibilities associated with forming a Lunch Club. Terrific food and friendship are sure to brighten even the dullest work day!

If you're in need of a recipe for your newly created club, take a look at my recipes for Chicken Tetrazzini, Zipped Up Baked Ziti or Barbeque Chili on my website, http://www.busybeelifestyle.com Cheers for happier lunch hours everywhere!

List-Building: Start with Your Passion and List Building

People new to Internet Marketing often ask me, "Whats the best way to start in Internet marketing?"

Im going to tell you a story about myself as a case study.

When I started, I had no HTML experience, and I couldnt put up a decent web page. I sucked at writing copy and I didnt know how to edit audio. I didnt know what an autoresponder series was, I didnt know how to make a redirect, and I didnt know how to approach people properly for a joint venture. I had no idea that list building was where any newbie should start. I think youre beginning to get the point, right? I didnt know anything.

The way that I got focused was to decide what I wanted to accomplish, and I knew that I would get distracted, if it wasnt a big deal.

So I came up with a goal that was massive to get me excited every day, when I woke up in the morning. I wanted to come up with a goal that would be inspiring to potential joint venture partners, too.

The first goal I had in mind was being incredibly successful marketing my attention deficit, self-improvement training online, and I needed to learn how to do that. So, the whole time I was learning marketing, the whole ADD idea was going on in the background for me. I wanted to be the Tony Robbins of attention deficit disorder, but I needed to figure out how to do that.

You can make a link between what youre doing with marketing, with your income, or your life and marketing, too. The question is "how" and thats where you have to apply some creativity. The first part is to really identify with what it is youre trying to go for and why it is youre doing what youre doing. Its the big picture here. You need to learn as much as you can about Internet marketing, so that you can achieve what you want to achieve, and it needs to start with list building

I figured that out intuitively. I thought, How am I going to learn about Internet marketing? Make a lot of contacts with self-improvement experts like Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and all those guys in the process? "Yes," I said, Im going to learn about list building because list building seems to me to be at least one of the core skills that a lot of successful Internet marketers seem to have mastered. Sure enough, list building happens to be one of those core skills. In fact, list building is THE core skill.

What I did next was I said, Im going to start list building with List Crusade and the goal is to build a list of a million subscribers in six months or less. Im going to do that and Im going to teach all of my subscribers about list building, as I do it. Thats my goal and Im going to promote the heck out of all of my joint venture partners that helped me get this thing launched by emailing their own lists.

Heres what this has to do with mindset: I came up with a goal that was inspiring to me and it was a huge goal. And I'm still list building every day because of what I learned. As a result Ive become a super-affiliate for most of the people that I promote.

What Im saying to you is: First, have a personal goal, and then, have a more specific goal, as it relates to Internet marketing, such as list building (which is where any online marketer needs to begin). Then, go after something huge that gets you excited every day and gets other people excited when you talk to them about it. Then, your chances of success are exponentially increased.

Just remember to start by list building, and you'll be on your way.

Building A Mill Pond In Your Backyard

"Down by the old mill pond" is a line from an old song, and it brings out a nostalgic longing for the simple times when things were not as rushed and as hectic as they are today. Even if you've never seen an operating mill in your life, it still has an appeal for most people.

If you think of "Gone with the Wind" whenever you think of a mill pond, you may think this is not something you can build in your backyard. However, with a little ingenuity and creative planning you can build a working mill pond.

Obviously, if you have a really small backyard, you cannot build a huge water wheel churning around. But you could build a reduced scale version of the water wheel for your mill pond, and this could serve as your splashing fountain that drowns out your neighborhood noises, and creates a peaceful serene backyard oasis.

You wouldn't want to build your mill out of pine, as it would rot and fall apart in just a few months, and then all of your labor and expense would be wasted. You should build your mill out of Cypress; it will last for years with minimal upkeep and maintenance. It may cost a bit more up front, but it will more than make up the extra expense as you get to enjoy your mill pond for years. A working mill comes in two types, either an under-shot mill or an over-shot mill. The majority of mills were the under-shot type. This is where the stream is flowing at the same level on both sides of the mill, the wheel is lowered into the stream and the water turns the wheel from the bottom.

Most fountains on the other hand use an over-shot type wheel. This is where the water comes across the top of the wheel, and rotates it from the top down. Because this causes more splashing and gurgling, it is more popular with homeowners. It just seems like the right kind of water wheel to have for your mill pond.

You need a pump to get water up to the top of the wheel to get it to turn. This can be accomplished by either having a hose or a pipe bring water up to the top of the wheel. An effective and attractive way to accomplish this is by building a small building along side the wheel. This hides the electrical components, pump and tubing from view, and protects the equipment from the weather. It also adds a strong visual statement to your mill pond. You can get plans for building a mill pond and water wheel from lots of different places, probably the easiest place would be find a place online that sells them. If you have reasonable carpentry skills you can build the mill yourself. This is probably going to take most people a couple of weekends to construct.

After you complete your mill pond and water wheel, you want to landscape it. Use small plants around your mill to frame it. Keep in mind how big the mature plants will be. Keep the bigger plants behind the wheel house to keep the water wheel as the main focus of attention. Use lighting to enjoy your mill pond at night.

A beautiful mill pond will generate numerous complements from your neighbors and friends, and will provide you with a great place to relax after a stressful day at work.

Building a Home That You Love - That Will Bring a Profit Later

"When building a home, you are likely hoping to build a home that is exactly to your needs and wants. After all, this is why many people choose to build rather than to buy a piece of real estate. At the same time, you want to consider the resale value of the home as well. Even if you think you will remain in the house until your golden years, you never know when life will throw an unexpected curve your way. Therefore, while you certainly want to build a home that fulfills your dreams, you also want to think ahead and build a piece of real estate that will help you earn a profit later.

Considering the Location

The first thing you want to take into consideration when building a home is the same as the golden rule that is always associated with real estate: location, location, location. The location of the real estate you buy will have much to do with the resale value of your home. Of course, conditions could change several years from now that will make your location better or worse than what it is today. Nonetheless, if you purchase a piece of real estate in a desirable area or in an up and coming area, you are likely to be able to turn a profit many years from now when it comes time to sell.

Thinking About the Size

When you buy real estate on which you will build a home, you need to consider the other homes in the area. When it comes to resale value, your home should not be the largest home in the area. In fact, the smaller homes generally sell faster. This doesnt mean that you should condemn yourself to a tiny home if you are in need of something larger. At the same time, you should keep your needs in mind when you buy the land so that you can build your ideal home in an area that will make your home more similar in size to the others in the area.

Decorating for the Future

Everyone wants to personalize his or her home and there is certainly nA98othing wrong with that. Obviously, you want to own a piece of real estate that feels like home to you and in which you can feel comfortable. At the same time, you should build a home that will have a greater chance of being sold when the time comes. To that end, you should take a few steps in order to strike the perfect balance.

The kitchen and the bathroom are two rooms that are very important in the world of real estate. In order to boost the resale value of your home and to help you enjoy your kitchen and bathroom to the fullest, try to buy modern conveniences to include in the home. The more up-to-date your home, the more valuable your real estate will be when it comes time to sell.

You also need to consider the permanent fixtures and the decorative touches that can be more easily changed. For example, you might adore bright red. But, installing bright red cabinetry can be a mistake since it is a very personal color. Instead, you might want to consider installing a more traditional color of cabinetry and painting your walls red or adding fixtures that are red. That way, you can get the colors you want without making it costly to make changes in the future.

By considering your likes and dislikes while also continually keeping the resellability of the home in mind, you will have a greater chance of creating a house that is both a home and a valuable piece of real estate. "

Profitable List Building - Announcing 5 Challenging Ways to Accelerate Your List Building

A marketing email list containing the contact information of your customers and potential clients can be the key to your ebusiness success. You can use this list to send your subscriber base promoti16A6onal emails or useful articles in order to form business relationship so you can effectively increase your online revenue.

Here are the 5 challenging ways that can help you build a strong, robust marketing list:

1. Resort to several advertising gimmicks. Entice your potential clients to sign up by running web based raffle, throwing in exciting freebies, or first to sign up rewards. People simply love getting something for free. Use this to your advantage and expand your list quicker.

2. Build up several squeeze pages. Do not limit yourself to one squeeze page because you can utilize as many as you want for free. Just make sure that you give them enough online exposure so they can help you attract more subscribers.

3. Uncomplicate the process of signing up. Make it hassle-free for your future registrants to sign up. Ask only for the information you need and present them with a short sign up form. If possible, present them with pop-up messages that they can easily click should they decide to subscribe.

4. Post your opt-in box on your website. Make it visible on every page that your customers might visit. Also, place it on the top or on the side of your website so it can easily be located.

5. Post your opt-out box too. Give your subscribers an option to stop receiving newsletters from you whenever they want to. This will make your potential subscribers feel that they are not in any way committed to your company and they can easily opt-out anytime.

Six Pack Abs - These 3 Mistakes Will Ruin Your Success

If you are training for six pack abs then there are a few things you need to be aware of that will be absolutely vital to your success.

First, you should understand the differences between developing abs and losing body fat. Getting six pack abs is a all about having extremely low levels of body fat. For men, the optimal body fat percentage is around 8% and for women it is around 15%. Training and eating to get body fat levels this low is much different than someone who just starts a diet and wants to lose 20-30lbs.

If you are just trying to lose a lot of weight, then making small changes to your diet will help you make a lot of progress very fast. For example, if you were to only drink water, unsweetened iced tea, and green tea, then you will not be consuming any calories from beverages. For someone who just wants to lose weight, a small modification such as this can make a big difference.

For someone who wants to get six pack abs, the process is much more detailed. These are two common mistakes that people make when trying to developing them.

Six Pack Abs Mistake #1: They try to do too many crunches and ab exercises.

While crunches and other ab exercises w113Bill help to build a stronger core, they will not help you get down to a low level of body fat. Trying to use endless reps of ab exercises simply does not build enough muscle or work your body hard enough to burn significant calories.

The myth of "spot" reduction is where a lot of people get caught up. The concept of spot reduction basically states that if you want to lose fat in a certain part of the body you should work the muscle underneath it. Our bodies do not store fat in one specific place, therefore you cannot lose fat in one specific place either.

You simply will never see a person with a ripped six pack and flabby love handles. If spot reduction actually worked this is what would happen. In the real world however, you need to concentrate on losing fat all over your body in order to develop a toned and sexy six pack.

Six Pack Abs Mistake #2: Trying to use infomercial ab gimmicks

When you see an advertisement for an "miracle" piece of ab equipment, the people who are using them usually have great bodies, low body fat, and a great abs. However I can guarantee you one thing, and that is they did not get that way to using one single piece of abdominal exercise equipment.

Like we just talked about with why lots of crunches do not help you get them, the same holds true for any ab crunch machine or anything else you see on an advertisement.

This all goes back to the false concept that working the abs with lots of exercises will directly lead to abs. All the people who have the best abs got them by exercising their whole body and by adhering to a very strict diet. Not by using some ab crunch gimmick for "two easy payments of $29.95."

Six Pack Abs Mistake #3: Eating too many calories.

Sounds overly simplistic doesn't it?

This is one of the most important core concepts that is crucial to understanding how to lose body fat and develop six pack abs. So many people try to eat healthy and still have trouble losing weight. Sometimes they think they have something physiologically wrong with them and their bodies simply cannot lose weight.

Before you fall into this trap and start seeking "miracle" quick fixes, you need to know that not being able to lose body fat is simply a matter of taking in too many calories. If you try keeping a food journal for a week and counting the calories you consume you will be amazed at the insight it will give you.

Even if you eat 400 extra calories a day from little snacks here and there (which is not difficult at all), you will be taking in an extra 2,800 calories per week. For some people, taking in an extra 500-1000 calories per day can easily come from foods that are extremely calorie dense but do not help you feel full. Such foods include bagels, donuts, muffins, potato chips, soda, any kind of fast food, and more.

So before you think that getting abs or simply losing body fat is impossible for you, try taking a few days to really track what you are eating. You will be surprised that losing weight can really be as simple as cutting out small calories dense foods from your diet.

A wise man once said that having sexy six pack abs feels better than the best tasting food in the world. Remember this concept and start taking action today. Good luck!

Are you not getting the results you want with diet and exercise? If so, there is good news for you. My name it Tom Gifford, Certified Personal Trainer, and I would like to extend to you a personal invitation to stop by my website at Six Pack Abs and check out the first two chapters of my brand new book! You will get lots of great tips you can start implementing immediately. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Building Strong Teams - A Key to Business Success

When you think about what makes business successful, most people probably think it's the products or services a company offers. Perhaps that was true 25 or so years ago, but it's quite different today. With more and more companies offering more and m1C48ore variations of literally millions of products, brand loyalty doesn't carry much weight these days. So what is it that gives a company in competitive edge. I think it's the people, how well they're trained, and most importantly, how well they work together.

Think of the acronym TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More. Anytime business leaders can get all their employees focuses on a common goal, and work together to achieve that goal, incredible things can happen. In a society that thrives on individual accomplishment, I believe the greatest success can only come when people on a team work together. At the sake of being cliche, I'm going to offer a sports analogy to substantiate my point.

In 1998, the Seattle Mariners won 76 games and finished 3rd in their division. After the season they lost arguably one of the best pitchers in baseball, Randy Johnson, to free agency. The next season they won 79 games and again finished 3rd in their division. At the end of the season they lost yet another superstar, Ken Griffey Jr., probably the best centerfielder in the game. The next season, 2000, they won 92 games and finished in 2nd place. Yet again, at the end of the season they lost another superstar. This time it was Alex Rodriquez, undoubtedly the best individual player in the game. He signed the largest contract of all time, $250 million for 10 years. And how did the Mariners do the next year; they won 116 games, tying the record for the most wins all-time for a season. No longer depending on the individual accomplishments of it's three superstars, the Mariners came together as a true team to accomplish one of the greatest seasons of all time.

So how does this apply to business? Well, here's what I believe teams give an organization.

An empowered workforce; there's no need for superstars when all your employees feel that they contribute directly their organizations success.

Greater job satisfaction; employees that feel they are contributing are more satisfied with their jobs, have better attendance, are less likely to look for a new job, and generally have an attitude of winning.

Flexibility; organizations that take time to train and develop the contribution potential of all their employees are much more flexible. Thus they are better able to react to changing market conditions and more effectively stay ahead of their competition.

Improved performance (i.e., safety, quality, product cost, customer service); employees who come to work regularly, received adequate training, and are made to feel a part of an organization almost automatically perform better. It's disgruntled employees, not satisfied ones, that are more likely to produce poor quality products or give unacceptable customer service.

Longer term company stability and profitability; all these things in turn provide long term company stability, and in turn, profitability. After all, companies are in business to make money. Why not try allowing your employees to work together as an empowered work force? You'll be amazed at the success.

Building Codes - Then and Now

As many of the readers already know, navigating the building code process in Pennsylvania can be a harrowing experience. Additional requirements with regard to permit fees, inspections, engineered plans, and over-building can add tens of thousands of dollars in development costs to a building project for a small business.

Environmental control plans for soil and water, and even sign ordinances that place directional signs and stop signs at the end of the private driveway to direct 2 or 3 customers per day have many people scratching their heads in disbelief.

It is all about liability. When something goes wrong, the courts are bound to find a party "at fault", and that party is then forced to pay the enormous charges associated with an accident. A legal driver who is unaware to look for traffic at the end of a stone driveway before pulling onto the highway can be hit by a vehicle, and is NOT held liable unless the business owner has stop signs properly placed at the end of the drive? What a world.

However, in defense of the building codes, the public relies on governments to "protect us from ourselves" by enforcing construction that is safe and reliable. Legal codes o16CDf this type are not a new phenomenon.

The first building code that is recorded was literally written on stone, and enacted by Hammurabi in Babylon in 1758 B.C. The code established the concept that those who designed and constructed buildings for others were held accountable for their work. There were no standard or specific requirements to the law, but rather it simply stated, "If a builder has built a house for a man and his work is not strong, and if the house he has built falls in and kills the householder, that builder shall be slain." This code did not apply to people building homes for themselves or their families.

After the great fires in London in 1666 and Chicago in 1871, agencies began writing codes that took into consideration the buildings of those around them. More densely populated cities led to the design of building codes that minimized risks to others in close proximity. Problems in existing structures resulted in the development of codes for ventilation, fire escapes, water supply, toilets and sanitary drains, stairs and railings.

In 1905, a U.S. Insurance Group, the National Board of Fire Underwriters, created the National Building Code to minimize risks to property and building occupants. The existence of this code led to the formation of organizations of building officials. By 1940, the United States had three regional code organizations, each with its own code.

It wasn't until the year 2000 that these three codes were consolidated into the International Code Council, which then produced the International Building Code (IBC), the International Residential Code (IRC), and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), as well as mechanical, plumbing, fire, and other codes.

Knowing the details of the present code is the responsibility of engineers and construction personnel, and it appears to be a necessary requirement in our present-day world. But the days of stone tablets are long past. Putting today's building code on stone would require an erosion and sedimentation control plan to acquire the stone, a permit to place the stone in its new location, prevailing wages for the chisel man, and a complete safety plan for swinging the hammer. And perhaps the greatest challenge of all, mining the billions of stones that it would require to hold the endless detail of today's script on how to lay a foundation, hammer a nail, and set a rafter.

Health Benefits of Muscle Building

Everyone knows that muscle is much more attractive than fat. So when you lose weight, you want to build more muscle and not just diet to lose fat. But there are other health benefits to building muscle mass that should motivate you to hit the gym.

First of all, when you build muscle, you automatically reduce your percentage of body fat. And, you look better too. Muscle mass is approximately half as big as the mass of fat deposits.

That means that while five pounds of fat is approximately the size of three grapefruits, five pounds of muscle is more like three tangerines. Therefore, if you are exercising to lose weight, dont be surprised if you actually gain weight. This is not a bad thing! It means you are building muscle mass, and you will look much slimmer than before.

Other health benefits of building muscle mass include burning calories more quickly. Muscles use energy, fat just stores it. So when you have more muscles, you will burn more energy and maintain a healthy body weight more easily.

You do not have to build a lot of muscle mass to reap the benefits. Studies show that building only five pounds of muscle mass will make you healthier and more able to fight off disease. It doesnt take long to build muscle mass, either. Just thirty minutes three times a week is enough to reach your goals.

Lifting weights is the obvious way to build muscle mass, but swimming, running, or even walking will build muscle mass as well.

Building a Bike from a Custom Motorcycle Kit

For many, off the shelf bikes just wont cut it and a custom1C68 bike is the only way to go. For years, the idea of having a custom bike was out of the range of most budgets and most custom motorcycle kits were poor quality. However with the rise in interest in customized choppers, the custom motor cycle kit has become a great option for those who wont settle for any thing but a custom bike but either cant afford a Jessie James or desire a more intimate connection with their bike.

Choosing the overall style The chassis is what truly sets the overall style of the bike. When searching for a custom motorcycle kit, focus on the shape and design of the chassis to find one that fits your style. Try not to let the paint designs on the photos sway your decision on chassis style as the paint can be completely customized later.

Customizing details With a custom bike kit you dont need to settle for a mass-produced shelf option, you can build a chopper that is completely unique to any other bike. There are literally thousands of nuts and bolts and hoses and tubes that come with a custom bike kit, giving you the very important base design of the bike. Items like mirrors, foot pegs, gas caps, etc can be purchased individually to create a completely custom flair.

Weighing the cost The cost of a motorcycle can be valued in dollars or time. For some people, money is less of a problem than time and others have the opposite dilemma. Still others may have the funds to purchase a customized bike from a bike builder, but would rather build their machine themselves for the experience and to understand every aspect of its design and inner workings.

Repair and maintenance Because youll have an intimate knowledge of the bikes design and function with a customized motorcycle kit, future repair and maintenance wont be a costly issue. When something isnt working correctly, youll know how to troubleshoot the problem and if something needs to be replaced, youll know exactly how to do it. When you build your chopper from the ground up with a custom motorcycle kit, there is no need to depend on any costly repair shop.

Today, custom built motorcycles reign supreme on the road. A custom motorcycle kit is the perfect way to get all of the essentials you need to build your bike and then customize it with a slick paint job and unique chrome accessories. Unless youve got more money than time and arent interested in the craft of bike building, a custom motorcycle kit is the way to go for building a custom bike.

Building Muscle Past 40

At the writing of this article I am 46 years old, soon to be 47. I continue to make progress and I continue to get stronger. I have never taken steroids and I never spend more than five hours per week in the gym. I don't really like talking about myself too much but I will do so only to emphasize my point. I recently achieved a new max in my leg press. I can now leg press over 1100 pounds. Likewise, I bench press 355 pounds, press over 250 pounds, squat over 400 pounds, etc. On many of the cable machines in the gym I now use the whole stack of weights. Believe me, I do not do this to show off but it simply makes no sense to handle less weight than what I am capable of because I would just be wasting my time.

If you are over 40 and have little or no workout experience do not give up hope. You are not too old. If you will abide by my other principles I have written about in other articles of mine you can make alot of progress. You are not "over the hill." Do not accept this as an excuse. Many men and women began working out or even began hardcore bodybuilding in their 40's, 50's, or even 60's. Remember, you still have the same muscles in your body that you had when you were in your teens and 20's.

So how do you build muscle past age 40? Okay, are you ready for this? Here it goes! You do the same thing you should do if you were still in your 20's. What is that, you ask? You do heavy, partial reps to failure or near failure. You perform short, intense workouts. You give each body part plenty of time to rest before training that body part again. You be sure to eat a proper diet of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. I recommend you read other articles I have written, which go into more detail about how to perform your workouts. I teach that it is important to keep the stress on your muscles but not on your joints, especially as we age. This is one reason I recommend that you perform partial reps because by doing partial reps you will not strain your joints. Also, by doing partial reps you are able to use more weight and when you use more weight you build more shape, size, and strength. This is how I have been able to continue making progress in my late 40's.

Finally, to e1119nsure that you are making the most progress possible, it is mandatory that you consume plenty of healthy foods each day.

I highly recommend that you download my e-book, What In The World Are You Eating? It has received a five-star rating and several people have told me how it has helped them. Now, no more excuses! Go build those muscles!
