PodCast Marketing: How Effectively Are You Deploying This Definitive Marketing Solution?

Each day starts and usually ends with the same BIG question. Our clients and prospects ask us, "How can I grow my business and capture my fair market share?" Our answer is quite simply, "Build yourself a base of prospects and work that pipeline relentlessly and efficiently."

One BIG tip that I can offer you as read my short synopsis today, learn how to become a successful PodCaster and watch your bottom-line fly skyward!

Over the past decade, the Internet has created many new breakthrough marketing mediums. From successful ezine publishing and distribution straight through to more pronounced search engine optimization practices.

As a television and radio broadcaster/marketing consultant, I have had the sincere pleasure of understanding just how important both the radio and television marketing methods are to businesses and individuals in getting the word out to their prospective audience.

Our weekly online radio show, Net Talk Radio has been received very well amongst listeners and advertisers alike. I guess I always knew that in time, connectivity speeds and portable hand-held devices would ultimately allow for a more expansive target audience reach.

The day has finally arrived!

Although, we began using our online talk radio format years ago, we are now able to sweeten the pie by allowing our listeners to almost effortlessly download our show (information and entertainment) right into the iPod and iRiver devices. Now our audience can listen where ever and whenever "they" like. Plus, as an added-value benefit to us and our valuable advertisers, we can track every hit (listener) around the clock for about the cost of a cup of coffee! We make all this happen by deploying one of today's best emerging audio/blogging technologies popularly referred to as, "PodCasting".

PodCast Marketing: *Anyone Can Do This!

First, What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is a term that manifested as a fresh way to describe the technology used to push (share) audio content from web sites down to consumers (clients) of that content, who usually listen to it on an iPod (hence the term "pod") or any other type of .mp3 player (iRiver) at their command, convenience and control.

PodCasting is somewhat similar to the concept of time-shifted video software and devices like TiVo, which let you watch what you want exactly when you want it by simply recording and storing video, except that PodCasting is primarily used for audio to date. (Universal video deployment is most likely just around the corner.) With that stated I should explain, however, that this easy to use emerging technology can be used to push (deploy) any kind of file such as photos (images), software updates, videos and/or text.

PodCasting uses an XML-based technology called RSS (Real Simple Syndication). Content publishers (PodCasters) describe new content in an XML RSS file which includes dates, titles, descriptions, and specifics links to the .mp3 files. This "automatically" generated file is referred to as an RSS feed. Dave Winer is considered by many to be the creator of RSS and a pioneer in the environment of applied XML. The component to making PodCasting work with RSS is "enclosures" (remember that term), an element supported by RSS 2.0.

As a consumer or end-user, you simply run an "aggregator" (remember this term, too) program like MTV's Adam Curry's iPodder software on your local computer, which lets you easily subscribe to RSS feeds. Programs like Adam's will either by schedule or by random design, download the RSS files, and check to see if any fresh content is available. If new content exists, the audio files are automatically downloaded and put into a folder (of your choice) on your hard disk or directly routed to your mp3 player.

I used an asterisk as noted above to make this very honest and often painful-to-some disclaimer. When I stated that "Anyone Can Do This", I should more accurately state, "Anyone that properly learns (from a real professional) and activates their own PodCast process can reap the significant harvest of BIGGER numbers by creating and nurturing their own emerging community. As 5B4an online business owner this is HUGE and required! This marketing solution can not only make you financially solvent, it can even make you a "STAR"!

Fitting The PodCast Magic Into Your Arsenal

Here now is a list of things to do to prepare yourself for your first PodCast presentation.

1. Research The PodCast Element

Learn precisely what PodCasting is all about and how it works. I recommend visiting http://www.google.com and typing, "PodCast Radio" into the search field.

2. Physically Search Out Only The True Professionals

Create a list of those PodCasters that undeniably know exactly what they are doing. Align your yourself with only the best. From this list, call them on the phone and pick their brain(s). If you cannot locate an actual telephonic point of contact, I strongly urge you to wipe them from your list. You want to do business with those that believe in "touching" their market with more intimacy and one-to-one personalization rather than just an email. Remember, you are looking for a friend. A mentor. Not necessarily someone to take your money and be off. A solid partnership (friendship) is your objective here.

3. Discover Your Passion

What passion do you share with others? What true value will your audience glean from you? Who is your target audience? Understand your "WHY"!

4. Develop Your Plan & Work Your Process

What do you need to learn? What do yo5B4u need to do? What specific date will you be ready? Who will provide you with the support you will need to fulfill your plan. What equipment is required?

5. Make Your Podcast Happen!

As you roll out your "new-to-you" adventure, don't expect total perfection on day one. Be kind to yourself and know that you will evolve. We all started from square one. You should have heard my first radio air check from my first radio gig in Bakersfield, California. I sounded just like a bumbling knucklehead. :-) Enough practice and desire can make you near perfect, but do be fair with you and give yourself time to grow.

Listen to other Pro-PodCasters. Listen to your local radio stations. Read books and articles like this one on a daily basis. (I do it everyday!)

6. Finally... No Excuses!

If you "really" want to crank up the heat on your marketing efforts, than PodCasting will give you the significant marketing advantage.

Know this...

Others will talk about it, but never make their move.

You, on the other hand, will except no feeble excuses and get working on your very first PodCast right away! (At the very least, be sure to move PodCasting up near the top of "TO-DO" list!

In closing today...

I have illustrated only a fraction of what you must know before you go piling into your PodCast endeavor full steam ahead. Be sure to identify and experiment with all angles of marketing when 5ADit comes to producing an on-going, money-generating PodCast production for all the world to hear and take notice!

Happy PodCast Marketing!

Close Kept Secrets to Weight Loss Lesson #47

Im always so in awe of the synchronicity of things. When we let things happen as God intended and not try to put our energy on the outcome or how things are supposed to show up, we let the Universe do its wonderful job in providing all the things to move us forward with our mission here on earth. We then have signs that illustrate that everything is aligned as it should be.

This past week I attended an Emmanuel Apostolic Church and what an experience I had. For several years now, I had felt a pull towards this church but didnt know why. I kept thinking I have to visit this church, but then never took the action steps toward attending it.

Let me tell you about my experience. Upon arriving as a new person, I am greeted with such a warmth and love that it filled me with tears. I am then given a program and I notice the picture of the Eagle which is on the program. I asked the pastors wife if the Eagle is always on the cover of the program and she said, No, we change it every week. I open the program and it illustrates their celebration of Black History Month and the topic for that day was health. I said a little prayer to God thanking Him for guiding me here.

What does all this mean?

The Eagle is my guide and has a huge significance for me. Ive written about the Eagle in my book, Wake UpLive the Life You Love Finding Personal Freedom. Within the past week I was visiting a friend and there were two Eagles in their nest just outside her house. On the way home, I saw two Eagles flying within a few miles of each other. I then drive up my street and my neighbor had her binoculars out looking at the tree by our respective houses with an Eagle sitting in the nest. Incredible, right?

As I listened to the speakers at the church, there was no doubt in my mind why I was there. The speakers discussed health and the illnesses that plague African Americans disproportionately as compared to other ethnic groups. The statistics they quoted were quite alarming. They mentioned heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. The speakers told the congregation that lifestyle changes are necessary in order to become intentional in creating vibrant health.

You can imagine how I was feeling at this time and why I was there. For years, Ive visualized me speaking to the masses about health. Here was an opportunity to help this group overcome their adverse statistics and paint a different picture for them.

I like the phrase, Go BIG, or go home!

I did meet with the pastor and told him my intent and how I was going to help his congregation. He looked at me in awe when I presented him with this information as he mentioned that prior to our meeting he spoke with three of his parishioners expressing the need for better nutrition and health. Synchronicity? Absolutely!

Do I know all the details of how this is going to be accomplished? No, I dont. I just know that Im supposed to do it and the resources and the people will show up. I know it!

What does this mean for you?

You have a mission to complete on this earth. When you are out of balance with your health, youre so focused on not feeling good that it distracts you from your God-given assignment. You must become intentional about your health.

I remember what I wrote down years ago after reading Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfields book, Dare to Win. In this book, you are asked to write down your objective in life and heres what I wrote:

My purpose in life is to empower all people to teach them about health issues to realize they are responsible for their own well-being.

I wrote this down after I had gotten myself well from an illness where I was bedridden. I went through that experience so I would understand what it feels like to have poor health and then to align myself with everything that was going to help me get well. Then years later I gained weight and lost it using all the components of my weight loss program, including the products from Isagenix.

Poor health and being overweight is not where God intends us to be. Let me help guide you to better health. It is possible to feel enthusiasm for life.

Think of me as your sign that is showing up for you. What would it feel like to have support to help you and to know youre not alone?

Remember what Oprah says, We dont do anything by ourselves. We must have support in order to succeed.

Love and hugs,

Helping you fall in love...with yourself

Road Peace or Road Rage - Are You in Control?

You can control your emotions. Perhaps you have encountered road rage in yourself or others. Or been tempted. When we spend time from minutes to hours, on the roads or freeways every day, we may we think impatienly, or we get in a hurry.

Can we really change our neutral or bad driving experiences into good ones? Can we help cut down on road rage?

We attract what we concentrate on

The universal law of attraction says that we attract to us whatever we think about. So, if we expect tension and impolite people to come our way, they most likely will. Why? Because we are acting tense and impolite ourselves, and that is what we attract. Then we get made at the rude people (when we are being rude ourselves.)

You keep seeing that same car

Ever noticed how you keep seeing the same kind of car whenever you focus on, say, a Corvette? All of a sudden there are Corvettes everywhere. Its the law of attraction.

We can feel great when we drive

We really just want to feel great when we are driving. Why not? Doesnt everyone like to feel great all the time? If we want to attract feeling great we need to expect to see polite, courteous, and friendly people on the road.

Study after study tells us that when we say or think something repeatedly, we actually make it happen. If we talk about how bad it is, we just get more negative things, says Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Whatever we think about we bring about

Whatever we concentrate on is what fills up our lives. By being critical and picky we set ourselves up for being unhappy. Negative thoughts make us negative people.

Negative thoughts cause stress

Rhonda Byrne, author of the blockbuster book and video, The Secret, tells us that a negative thought is the beginning of stress, and stress causes illness. It also causes bad things to happen to us. Especially on the road. Changing to positive thoughts of love and gratitude removes stress and brings good health.

Joyce tried an experiment

A friend of ours in her 20s, Joyce Jones, decided to try an experiment to test this out on the road. She bought a lighted sign to mount in her cars back window that she programmed to say THANK YOU. Whenever someone did something nice for her, like let her in, or give her the right-of-way, all she did was press a button on her remote to make the sign flash in big bright red letters, THANK YOU.

A THANK YOU button

She said it not only changed her day, but, when she looked in her rear view mirror, she noticed that most of the time the drivers who let her in were smiling. She had changed her own thinking and she had also changed someone elses thoughts. She started looking for opportunities to hit the THANK YOU button.

One day at the car wash someone asked her what the sign was all about. (She had turned it on for fun to say thanks to her car wash guy.) I just want to make the road a friendlier place, she said. What a great idea, was the response.

OOPS, Im Sorry

Let me show you another phrase I use too, Joyce said, and flashed OOPS IM SORRY. Everyone got a chuckle out of that one, she said. Which one do I use more? Its a toss-up some days, she added.

Joyce knows now that what she thinks about on the road is a significant thing. She knows, along with the sages, that our thoughts and words actually create our lives and influence the lives and circumstances around us.

Staying aware of our thoughts

We can consciously create our daily lives by staying aware of our thoughts and words and choosing them with an eye to how we want to feel.

Here are some choices for ways to think about our driving experiences. These words will change your emotions and experiences from negative to positive.

Use these positive thoughts for great driving experiences

When we drive, we will now think thoughts that tell ourselves we are:

Enjoying the drive

Feeling marvelous

I am a patient driver

I am better than ever

I am friendly

I am courteous

I am at ease

I am always relaxed

I am feeling good

People in the other cars are friendly people

In contrast, these are some of the words and phrases that you dont want to use any more. If you recognize them as being familiar, just be happy you are eliminating them from your conversation.

Eliminate these negative thoughts

Traffic makes me nuts

Its worse than ever

No one knows how to drive

Dont even think about getting there on time

No one ever gives me a break

Its a rat race out there

I hate to drive

We are the creators of our own lives

The little known dynamic of life is that we are the creators of our own lives. All of the great thinkers and inventors of life have understood this. Now the word is out to all of us. We create our own lives, and our own happiness. We do it through our thoughts and our words.

It starts with a simple, Driving is fun. There are a lot of friendly people in cars. I like the idea of Road Peace. I am making myself a part of it. I am peaceful on the road.

Let your thoughts and words soar out ahead of you. Pick yourself up out of that funk and start a new driving life today. Tell yourself that you are in charge now and things are b>GREAT on the road.

Bob Proctor Has Known The Secret For Decades

If any one out there is wondering how Bob Proctor discovered The Secret the answer is: The same way Rhonda Byrne the creator of the hit movie of the same title found itthey both came across the Wallace Wattles book written in the early 1900s entitled The Science of Getting Rich! If you go to the website that takes its name from that masterpiece, you can download a free copy for yourself without any strings attached. I know this to be so because I have lead many of my closest friends to that site myself, and they all have later thanked me -and I have downloaded it for my own personal use as well because a close friend passed on the website to me.

The book proves to be not only a quick read, but if taken seriously it can also transform your life much the same way as it has for Rhonda and Bob. When Bob was given the book in the 1960s he was earning only $7,000.00 a year and was $8,000.00 in debt. As he began to understand this science, he changed his life to the tune of earning over $100,000.00 the first year he applied the instructions found within Mr.Wattles book! Rhonda went from her life -both professionally and personally -falling apart and being in danger of losing the production company she had devoted the last 10 years of her life to -to making a hit movie that even Oprah Winfrey herself touted her support of by dedicating not 1 but 2 shows to! The idea of The Law of Attraction expanded upon in The Secret is how these individuals (Oprah included) brought wealth and prosperity into their own lives. Hows that for a reason to change the way you think and react to what is happening in your life?

Bob Proctor believed in the book so much that he too passed it on to any of his friends who showed an interest in his sudden windfall of luck and wealth. To his amazement, while his life continued to change and he continued to evoke more and more prosperity and fortune, some of the very same people he had presented the book to -did nothing -and nothing in their lives changed as it had for Bob! When he first became aware of this fact, he then realized that action and faith, gratitude and awareness where some of the key factors in realizing ones greatest desires! He has spent the last 4 decades telling people how to apply what has been dubbed as The Law of Attraction and he covers it quite thoroughly in The Secret.

Bob also advocates utilizing Multiple Sources of Income which he explains in an audio CD he made entitled What Would You Change If Your Annual IncomeSuddenly Became Your Monthly Income? One of the ways he suggests doing so -is Network Marketing. He has launched his own organization along with his fellow Secret- Affiliate Jack Canfield (of the famed Chicken Soup For The Soul book series) to bring in people to help them learn what he has come to understand in all the years that he has dedicated himself to helping others succeed, while utilizing the Internet to create their own wealth in the process.

If you are a fan of any of the people mentioned in this article or to the ideas therein, you may want to take the time yourself to research and apply what they openly have to share with you. There are many ways to succeed in life, but I for one believe in duplicating the actions and behaviors of those who have succeeded in their own lives. Why reinvent the wheel? If you596 dont have the answers to the questions youve been asking, it may not only be worth your time and effortit may very well change your life too!

Karen Giardunio is a single mother who resides in the mountains just north or Boulder Colorado. Through the power of the sweeping concept of "The Law Of Attraction!" she was able to personally connect herself with two of the leading experts in the field of Internet Marketing and Personal Development. It is through these great mentors that she has begun to change her life and obtain an unlimited wealth of knowledge and understanding of the need to share and serve others in order to obtain her own hearts desires. So, she now offers frustrated Network Marketers that are looking for more ways to make money while learning how to win at the recruiting game to accomplish those goals. You can just go to http://www.moneymakerdaker.com to find your way to the simple step-by-step applications that anyone can master that will show you how you can take control of your own life by creating a potential 6 figure income helping others succeed. The two mentors mentioned above will be working for you! They will share their money making system and guide you every step of the way.

Write Your Goals Down

Few months ago I was a speaker alongside Richie Dayo Johnson, one of the best motivational speakers in the UK at Creating the Future, a seminar that was delivered to a select audience of company executives, top government officials and captains of at the Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. One of the things I spoke about was goal setting and the importance of writing it down on paper. I even showed the audience my goals for 2006 written on paper that I keep in my wallet.

I said always think on paper. A goal that is not in writing is not 14CCa goal at all. It is merely a wish and it has no energy behind it.

Think about it! If you were taking a complicated route out of town, you would write down the directions wouldnt you? But if you were considering the path of your life, your goals, and what you need to do to achieve them, you probably wouldn't write any of them down.

Writing down your plans, goals, and ideas makes them clearer to you. Every step you take to define and actualise your goals will systematically increase your chances of achieving it.

According to Brian Tracy, Clarity accounts for probably 80% of success and happiness. Lack of clarity is probably more responsible for frustration and underachievement than any other single factor. People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them could ever imagine. Your success in life will largely be determined by how clear you are about what it is you really set as your goal.

The more you write and rewrite your goals and think about them, the clearer the goals will become. The clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to do more and more of the things that are consistent with achieving it. Meanwhile, you will do fewer and fewer of the things that don't help to get the things you really want. In Jack Canfield's and Mark Victor Hansen's original Chicken Soup for the Soul, I am reminded of the short story called "Another Check Mark On the List." This is a story about a 15 year old boy named John who, on one rainy day, when it was too wet outside to play, decided to write a list of his goals. John continued writing until he had 127 goals. These goals included exploring the Nile River, climbing high mountain peaks around the world and learning 3 foreign languages. He also wanted to be featured in a Rose Bowl Parade and play several musical instruments. Of the 127 goals that he listed over 60 years ago, John has achieved 108. If he lives to become 75 years old he will achieve 109 (he listed "live to see the 21st Century"). How did John achieve all of these goals? He wrote them down...

I recently read a motivational quote that said: "If you can't write it down, you can't do it." Let's think about that for a minute. Every day you may be compiling lists of things to do; to run your household, perform your job, or plan your business trip or vacation. How many times do you really write down, exactly what you want out of life? How many long term or short - term goals do you write down?

Write it down in your personal digital assistant or your day planner. Write it down and hang it on your walls, write it down on sticky notes and place them on your bathroom mirror or on your windows. Every time you write your goal down, your body is moving toward your goal. The goal is getting clearer and clearer. The road map you create by writing it down is projected straight to your subconscious mind and is being acted upon. Write your goals down everywhere.

The very fact that you are reading and listing this information is a great start toward overcoming the real obstacles and moving forward toward achieving all of your goals. Think about John, the 15-year-old goal achiever from Chicken Soup for the Soul. Now that he is over 70 years old, what advice would John have for you when you ask him: "What was the most important thing you can do to achieve your goals?" John would say, just three words. Write it down. Write them down in the present tense, as though a year has passed and you have already accomplished them.

Fewer than three percent of adults have written goals and plans that they work on every single day. When you sit down and write out your goals, you move yourself into the top 3% of people in our society. And you will soon start to get the same results that they do. The act of writing your goals down vastly increases your chance of success. Write it down! Then, keep your notes where you can see and read them every day

The Publishing Industry - Learn the Secrets

We're excited that you want to become a published author, and we're dedicated to help you reach that goal. The road to publication can be bumpy, indirect, and confusing. Many writers find that they need a guide. That's why we're writing these columns: to give you vital information that you will need and to show you the best routes, short cuts, and approaches to smooth your way.

The competition to get books published is fierce.

It seems as if everyone wants to write and publish a book. To increase your odds of making the cut, we'll be providing you with information we've learned throughout our careers working in the book business, and added insights provided by top experts. From the get-go, we want you to understand what's involved in getting your book published, what you're getting into, and precisely what you have to do.

The world of books is magical and mysterious. Publishing is a special universe. When you try to move inside and work your way through the publishing process, it can be daunting. Newcomers can easily get lost, swallowed up, and discouraged. Seasoned authors can grow frustrated, angry, and disillusioned. Writers at all levels, from unpublished novices to successful veterans, need help finding their way. That's why we're here, to show you what to do.

For starters, understand that the publishing industry is complex and can be baffling. It's riddled with rules, most of which are unwritten and difficult to decode. The rules were made by publishers, and guess whom they benefit? Why, publishers, of course. The rules give publishers the upper hand.

The publishing industry is filled with insiders: mainly editors, literary agents, booksellers, and publishing company personnel. Most others, including writers, are kept out.

Publishing insiders speak their own language.

Outsiders often feel lost. Many of the rules are inside secrets that are based on old traditions and protocols. The rules may differ from agent to agent, editor to editor, and publisher to publisher. Plus, they can change instantly at the drop of a corporate memo or a bigwig's whim.

Publishing is a mysterious world that constantly changes. It follows and reacts to the media, the current trends, and the news. Recently, the industry has gone through a major consolidation that has left it with a handful of major publishers and thousands of smaller-sized firms. Due to corporate takeovers and consolidation, this industry, which was once devoted to the art of fine writing, now primarily worships the bottom line.

As an industry, publishing is in mortal combat for consumer dollars with the makers of motion pictures, radio, television, video games, computers, recorded music, sporting events, and others. It's also in the clutches of a small group of mega booksellers who have the market clout to influence, if not dictate, what books are published. To make matters worse, publishing operates under an archaic system under which booksellers may return unsold books for full refunds.

If you hope to be a published writer, it's crucial for you to know the rules of the game and the layout of the field before you try to play. Without such knowledge, you don't stand much of a chance. If you want to get your manuscript published, it's crucial for you to understand as much as possible about those you hope to impress: the publishing establishment and especially editors, agents, and publishing houses.

At the least, you should know:

Who they are
Precisely what they do
Exactly what they want
How you can best fit in
Publishing Is a Business

When writers try to sell their books, many start at a disadvantage because they place the book publishing business on a pedestal. They tend to romanticize the industry and approach it with stars in their eyes. Often, they wrap all their hopes in their books, which they see as lofty endeavors that will launch their literary careers and fulfill their dreams.

In doing so, they often project qualities on publishing companies that simply don't exist. They may think that because publishing deals with arts, letters and culture, that the industry operates on a higher plane or its major concern is art and beauty, which certainly isn't true.

Over the next few weeks, we're going to demystify book publishing and explain how it works. We're going to pass on to you the cumulative wisdom of top experts in the field, experts who know all the secrets, the ins and outs, and can explain exactly what you must know. This information will give you a decided advantage in getting your book published.

Difficult People: 3 Things You Must Know!

"The person who constantly angers you or frustrates you...controls you." Colleen Kettenhofen

Do you know any difficult people? Have you ever worked or lived with a difficult person? Are YOU a difficult person?! It's amazing how many participants in my leadership training will come up to me at the end of a program on, "Dealing with Difficult People," or "Dealing with Difficult Employees," and confide to me, "Colleen, I th5B4ink sometimes I'm a difficult person and just realized it today!" Well, we can all be difficult people from time to time. But what do you do with the person who is chronically difficult? A key component to life balance is learning to deal with difficult people. There will always be difficult people. Here are three important points to remember.

1) All behavior has a positive intention - even with difficult people. 2) Low self-esteem is often at the root cause of why people are difficult. 3) You can't always please everybody.

1) All behavior has a positive intention. Take for example the gossip. When someone comes into your office gossiping about everyone else, who are they trying to make look better? Themselves. That is their positive intention. As a matter of fact, while you are reading this article, what do you think the difficult people/gossips are doing in your office? Gossiping about YOU! I'm just kidding. Sort of.

I don't think gossips realize that when they gossip to you about everyone else, you are probably thinking, "I wonder what they say about ME when I'm not around?" Remember, they have a positive intention. Strange as it may sound, they are trying to make themselves look better.

What about whiners and complainers? If someone comes to you complaining and whining about how much work they have to do, or how overloaded they are, what are they looking for? They're looking for empathy, sympathy. Or, these 5B4difficult people are looking for you to do the work for them. That's their positive intention. Now, we all have times when we're overloaded and feeling overwhelmed. But I'm talking about the real whiners and complainers. Those you might label "emotional vampires" because they just suck the life out of you.

What about snipers? Believe it or not, even these difficult people have a positive intention. They are the difficult people who throw little digs your way in the hopes of rattling your cage and ruffling your feathers. What's their positive intention? To make themselves look better. And, they think that by cutting you down, especially in front of others, that they'll look better. For example, in an open work area, a sniper might walk by and within earshot of others say to you, "Well, there goes Shelly, on her 100th personal phone call of the day!" AND, you weren't even on a personal phone call!

These snipers are the same difficult people who after cutting you down and insulting you, will say, "Oh, you just have no sense of humor." They're trying to put it all back on you. Really though it's about them and their own insecurities. Which brings me to the second main point in dealing with difficult people.

2) Low self-esteem. A lot has been written and talked about regarding self-esteem and self-confidence. It almost seems ridiculous quite frankly. For example, every child on a team winning a trophy even though they were 5B4on the LOSING team. All in the name of "self-esteem." And yet, a lot of difficult people do suffer from low self-esteem. Not always, but often.

Only one out of every three American adults has high self-esteem, and we're a pretty positive culture. But, only one out of three adults really has high self-esteem. Some of you may be thinking, "Well, I know it's definitely not me!" That's okay. It's something you can work on. The point is, that with difficult people it's not necessarily about you. You aren't the problem. It's about THEM. They're the difficult person. (More later on making sure we're not the difficult person!)

Low self-esteem often has its roots in childhood. It coulde be that the "difficult person" was teased by fellow classmates in school. This can result in one having a low opinion of themselves. You all know kids can be cruel. Sometimes it's something a teacher or a parent said. Or being compared to Super Parent or a superstar sibling. Any number of things can cause low self-esteem. You don't always know what's going on with someone else and why they're behaving the way they do.

Sometimes you can do all the right things and nothing works because they're a difficult person who doesn't want to change. Or, they haven't been held accountable for needing to change. So remember, focus on the part you can control - you.

3) You're not always going to please everyone. You won't always please everybody so get 5B4rid of the notion that you will. We can't always worry about what "everyone" else thinks of us.

Dr. Daniel Amen has what he calls the 18-40-60 rule. The 18-40-60 rule is: When you're 18 years old, you worry about what everyone is thinking of you. When you're 40, you don't care anymore what everyone thinks of you. And when you're 60, you realize nobody's been thinking about you at all! How true is that?! The older we get we realize "everybody" isn't thinking about us.

Also, don't be a person who tends to dwell. For example, have you ever been in a situation where a week after your encounter with the difficult person you're still stewing about them, thinking about them, and dissecting what was said? Remember, the person who constantly angers you...controls you.

Keep a pad of paper along with a pen in your car. Anytime you're afraid you're going to say something you'd regret, especially if you're a manager or supervisor, go out to your car during a break. I realize many of you are so busy you don't even know what a break is anymore! Seriously, though, write down everything you'd like to say, that you never could say. When you arrive home, tear it up, or burn it. Throw it away.

Be careful, too, of the words you use. Avoid absolutes. For example, don't say, "You always" and "You never." It will only put that difficult person further on the defensive. I once role played with a gentleman in one of my leadership trainin5B4gs, and I said "John, you never do the work. You're always expecting everyone around here to do your work!" He looked at me, pointed and said, "You sound like my wife!" Everyone roared with laughter.

Even major corporations have to be careful that their slogans get translated properly into foreign languages. For example, it's been said that Pepsi's "Come alive with the Pepsi generation," translated into "Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave" in Chinese. Frank Perdue's chicken slogan, "It takes a strong man to make a tender chicken," was translated into Spanish as, "It takes an aroused man to make a chicken affectionate!"

In conducting leadership training, especially when discussing dealing with difficult people or difficult employees, I sometimes have my participants take the following pledge.

"On my honor, I promise, when dealing with a difficult person, that I will bite my tongue and count to 10. Because if I don't, I may say something that I will LIVE to regret!"

Relationship Advice for Creating "Non-Negotiables" in Your Relationships

When there is something that is "non-negotiable" in our relationships and lives, there's often a negative, uncomfortable, closed feeling that goes along with that thought or idea.

We've discovered that "non-negotiables" in our relationships can actually make them dramatically better and filled with much more love, passion and connection.

Curious? Here's how...

Recently, we picked up Jack Canfield's book "The Success Principles" and were fascinated by what he said about commitment and how that relates to creating great relationships.

In his book, he talked about making a "100% commitment to the outcome" and that successful people "adhere to the 'no exceptions rule' when it comes to their daily disciplines."

He goes on to say that once you decide something is non-negotiable, you don't have to think about it anymore and life is easier.

Okay, so let's translate that idea to relationships...

For us, our commitment to each other is that we connect on a deep level every day. It's "non-negotiable" and we don't have to decide if we're doing it or not. We just do it!

Whether we connect in person during our hour of connection in the morning or by phone on the rare occasions that we are away from each other--we express our gratitude, appreciation, love, angst and anything else that's important to us in that moment in all sorts of different ways with each other.

We've discovered ways to make keeping our commitment fun, exciting and enjoyable--instead of something we "have" to do. That time is certainly a high point in our day.

Another commitment we've made with our extended family is to physically get together at least once a month. Whether it's a picnic at a park in a city that is central to all of us or it's an overnight at Susie's sister's house to celebrate a birthday, we are committed to connecting and having fun in some way or another--with each other. This commitment is "non-negotiable" for all of us.

So our questions to you are these...

What's non-negotiable, by choice, in your relationships?

What commitment are you willing to make to create your life and relationships the way you want them to be?

What are you willing to say that you'll make a 100% commitment to doing that will improve your life and your relationships?

In other words, what can you choose to commit to right now (or in the near future) that could change and improve your relationships for the better?

It might be something that you stop doing--like judging and criticizing your loved ones or a co-worker--or stopping what you are doing to actually look at them when they are talking to you.

It might be something new that you begin doing--whether the other person is in agreement or not.

It might be a commitment that you make with your partner--something that would revitalize and re-energize your relationship.

Whatever this idea may mean to you, we invite you to look at how you can open to experiencing more love and connection in your life.

Spend some time thinking about and creating some new positive and fun "non-negotiable" commitments and let us know what you come up with.

We know from personal experience that when you make new commitments that are "non-negotiable" that will help you create more love, passion and connection, the payoff can be amazing.

Leadership Effectiveness - The Power of Communications, Motivation, and Emotions

Effective leaders see more in other people than people see in themselves, and one of your objectives as a leader is to bring their talents to the surface.

Understanding the three fundamental elements that affect performance will build team loyalty and cohesiveness. These elements are communication, motivation, and emotions.

Communication

You've probably heard that people tend to follow three basic communication styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Each of us is a mix of all three, and our dominant style usually dictates how we communicate. If the person with whom you are talking has a different style, the message may be misunderstood. You certainly don't want that. Let me give you a few traits that identify the three styles.

  • Visual Communicators speak and read quickly. They would rather read than be read to. They remember what they see, rather than what they hear. When you give them instructions, make sure they're written, because they may forget verbal information. They need an overall view and purpose, and are cautious until mentally clear about an issue or project. They are good long-range planners and organizers. They are neat, orderly, and appearance-oriented, in both dress and presentation.
  • Auditory Communicators need to hear something to learn it. They may experience difficulties with written instructions, preferring to hear them. They may also find writing to be a challenge, and are better at communicating verbally. They learn by listening, and they remember what was discussed rather than what was seen. They are frequently eloquent speakers, are talkative, and love discussions. They prefer to learn by taking teleclasses and listening to audio lessons.
  • Kinesthetic Communicators perform best in an experiential environment. They need to touch, feel, and experience things in order to understand. They speak slowly, use action words, and want to act things out. They may have messy handwriting, and they learn more effectively when physically active. They cannot sit still for long periods of time. In schools, kinesthetic learners are often labeled hyperactive. This may be your team member who volunteers to do the demonstrations.
When you give presentations, whether to your team or the public, keep in mind that your audience is made up of all three styles. Usually, the visual and auditory learners are satisfied with a person talking and using visual aids, but what about the kinesthetic learners? Include exercises, or simply get people to stand up, find a partner and debrief what was just presented. People with dissimilar learning styles will grasp different parts of your presentation, and sharing enhances the learning experience for everyone.

Motivation

All leaders want to motivate their troops, and you're no exception, right? Would it help you to have a better understanding of some of the triggers that encourage people to take action? Here are the top five, in no particular order.

1. A drive to achieve and succeed

2. A desire to be appreciated and needed

3. A requirement to have things just right and orderly

4. A necessity for autonomy and self-reliance

5. A constraint to be safe and secure

Of course there are many more, but these will give you a good start.

So, where do these triggers originate? They are components of the belief systems that begin to develop at a very young age. Our neurological systems are all wired differently, and we all have different nurturing experiences. As the saying goes, "You are unique, just like everyone else." Now, how can you capitalize on this knowledge? It's a two-step plan. First, get to know your people and discover their "hot buttons" - their triggers. Then, help them set goals that satisfy both your organization's fiscal requirements, and their own personal needs, taking into account their triggers. Benchmarks and timelines, along with measurable targets, will keep the focus on outcome and not just process.

Emotions

A person's ability to effectively act and think is intimately linked with his or her physical and emotional well-being. Long-term exposure to threat, conflict, or humiliation will damage self-esteem, and may result in a vortex of negative emotions, self-limiting beliefs, apathy, anxiety, fear, mistrust, immature coping behaviors, and a diminished 5B4interest and ability to process information. As a team leader, you have the responsibility of being a guide, an information provider, and a role model. Unreasonable demands to achieve a quota may work in the short term, but it will backfire later in the form of resentment and distrust.

So, what do you do if one of your team displays such characteristics? Well, first of all, your role as mentor, guide, and team leader does not include psychotherapy. All of us go through periods of having the blues, and these are just normal cycles. In these instances, just be understanding and supportive. If symptoms persist or escalate, you may have a problem. Is this your problem? As a business professor of mine used to say, "It depends." Has this person ever been a productive team player? How long has this person been with you? Aside from recommending professional help, you may be playing a greater role in their life than you think. You and your team may be the only meaningful family that he or she has. Think of that before you make any decisions. An environment of unconditional love may be just what this person has been missing all along. J. C. Penney advised, "A company with internal dissension is drained of energy before it has a chance to devote itself to its proper purpose." High self-esteem and self-confidence boost effectiveness on the job, and create team loyalty.

Summary

As a leader, you want to be as effective as pos58Asible. How you relate with and inspire your staff has a direct consequence on your bottom line. Understanding what makes your team members tick will place you in a better position to influence their attitude and foster their success.

Four Noble Truths
Noble Eightfold Path

The Power of Intent

Are you facing the two "Ds" head on and working past, through, or around them, if necessary?

"A truth that's told with bad intent beats all the lies you can invent."
-William Blake, 1757-1827

The power of Intent is truly a double edge sword. When the intent of the management value includes coming from integrity," you can bring good to your life and the lives of others.

Those who come from the 2 Ds = "Deceit" and "Duplicity" will use intent to undermine the good around them for their own benefit. This sword can ruin companies, it can ruin lives.

The first time I hear the word "duplicity" was while listening to Steven Cov16FBey in "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". He talked about working amongst people who have motives that are duplicitous. Where, on the surface it appears that they care about you, your career, the company and doing the right thing, somewhere inside their conscience they are ready to make decisions based on what is best for them personally with no consideration for right or wrong, or good or bad. If it benefits them, usually financially, then they will do what is necessary.

Sometimes this behavior is born of jealousy. Certainly those who believe in the win/lose mindset, which is "if I win then you lose, if you win, then I must lose", would come from the power of jealousy in order to win every time.

Others move this further to the negative and believe that the "pie" is only so big; therefore my piece of the pie must be bigger than your piece. This is better known as scarcity mentality.

In any case, this behavior falls smack in the middle of the 2 Ds, Deceit and Duplicity.

Many times you will be slow to recognize this behavior. If you are a person of integrity, then the last thing you are looking for is the 2 "Ds" in the interactions you face every day. With women its intuition, with men it's their "gut feeling", but somehow you will spot this behavior as time passes and the business or personal days move forward.

The behavior is rampant in corporate business. This comes from the sheer volume of people and circumstances you face when working for one company or another. This does not say that you won't face this as an entrepreneur, mother, PTA member, civic counsel member, church group member or participant in a sports team activity. This behavior can manifest itself in all of these environments.

Our goal is to value Intent and use it as the stabilizing force in our interactions every day.

There are simple steps you can take to determine the intent of those interacting with you:

1. Stop, take the count of 5 and evaluate the intent in your action or reaction. Is this something I am doing or saying with the goal of contributing or is it something I think will improve my standing over others?

2. Evaluate what you know about the person with whom you are interacting. Have you known them a long time? Is this behavior similar to that expressed in situations before? Have you established a trust relationship with this person in the past? All of these questions will help you determine if the person in question is coming from the 2 "Ds".

3. As Jack Canfield would say "Events X Response = Outcome" So, how you react to the situation is more important than the situation itself.

4. Remember, most times it's not at all about you! Oh, you think its personal, you think you are being offended in a desire to hurt you or make you look bad. In reality, the person creating the circumstances is the one that it's all about! The better you separate yourself from the emotions of the moment, the better chance you have to react in a way that will benefit both parties in the long run.

5. Are you coming from the intent to use integrity? Are you looking at this as an opportunity to gain ground? Can you make someone really look deficient in front of the team with your ability to" smart" your way through the response? WOW, this is the time for the "gut" check. You may find, when you look at yourself, the 2 "Ds" are present in your profile.

6. If you are a person of integrity and if you are a person who is smart, self-confident and you know your intent is pure, then face the interaction from the best part of yourself. Remain calm, discuss the facts, present solutions, gain understanding of the other person's position and walk away when you are in a no win situation. Time and space sometimes solve many issues.

The Power of Intent can make or break the best of us. We have many things on our minds all day long and it's so easy to react quickly to any and all situations that may need a little more attention than you have given it at the time. Take the Power of your Intention to guide you. Use your inner compass to help you face each situation from your best self.

Women, remember that the "Gender Curtain" is alive and well and you may have to consider that subtle male/female relationship in order to make the most significant progress in your career as you react to the intent of your male counterparts. What is the Gender Curtain you ask? Continue to look for more on this subject as we face the fall of 2007!

Do Binaural Beats Work? What About Holosync?

The benefits of practising deep meditation are enormous. Apart from reducing stress and anxiety it can produce amazing effects in the body and eliminate negativity from the mind. However it usually takes a lifetime to perfect through hours of daily pratise.

What if yo1C57u could gain access to a new technology that would put you into such a deep meditative state within minutes, would you be interested?

I am about to introduce you to a relatively new technology that uses Binaural Beats. This technology is cutting-edge and can bring you all the benefits that would otherwise take you 30 years to acquire! I am talking about a meditation program by Centerpointe Research Institute called Holosync. You are about to discover the origins and workings of this technology as well as the benefits and pitfalls it offers.

Unlike other binaural beats recordings Holosync is a course and not a single recording. It is possible to purchase binaural beat recordings designed for a single purpose. They come in the form of CD and each one is designed to produce just one specific state. However Holosync is very different. It is designed solely to remove negative programming from your past and free you from past traumas, bad memories, emotional issues and any negative beliefs you are still carrying internally.

Does it work?

To get a comprehensive answer to this question we are required to delve a little deeper into the technology itself and look at the foundation upon which Holosync is built. I am of course talking about Binaural Beat Technology.

It was in 1839 that Binaural Beats were first discovered by a man named Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. However it was much later, in 1973, when Gerald Oster released a paper called "Auditory Beats in the Brain", that their use in cognitive and neurological research was discovered. These beats are in fact different specific frequencies giving to the left and right ear. The audio produced by using binaural beats can send anyone into a deep meditative state in just a few short minutes. These states are Alpha (light trance), Theta (deep trance) and Delta (dreamless sleep).

The beats are produced through a specific audio mixing technique using different frequencies for each ear. They are designed to alter the listener's brain wave activity and they do this very effectively. You merely put on some stereo headphones, sit or lie in a comfortable position, close your eyes and allow the sounds to do their work. You don't even have to force yourself to relax.

It has been well documented that when brainwave patterns change they cause a change in chemical reactions within the body. Such reactions in the body's chemistry usually results in profound positive changes throughout the whole physical system. In essence binaural beats appear to have the same impact and benefits of very deep meditation. In fact the use of such technology has been shown to be almost identical to transcendental mediation. For normal people like me and you this is great news. Usually it takes the a life commitment to learn transcendental meditation. Practitioners of such deep meditative practises devote many hours everyday to perfecting the technique. You can do it in minutes. In fact entering even light states of trance can take years to learn and perfect.

The state of transcendental meditation is said to be enormously beneficial to humans. It can stimulate the creation of certain hormones needed by the body and reduce things like blood pressure and it is even said to slow down and reverse effects of the aging process. Therefore the benefits of deep meditation are immense. So if Holosync delivers the ability to enter deep meditation the benefits should be the same.

As far as Holosync goes the other major benefit, as if we needed one more, is that the state produced by the Centerpointe recordings allow you to directly access the subconscious mind.

This means that the Holosync meditation recordings can be used with any other personal development tool, like subliminal recordings, hypnosis sessions or even as an aid to visualization, with dramatic effects. Using this type of 21st Century technology means you can therefore alter limiting or negative beliefs, heal emotional issues or create new positive behaviours in a fraction of the time it would take you using conventional means and with a much higher success rate.

Here are some of the benefits of transcendental meditation:

1. Creates a deep relaxing feeling throughout the body which stays with you for hours afterwards.

2. Boosts your creativity.

3. Slows aging.

4. Removes emotional blocks, old traumas and creates profound emotional changes at an extremely deep level.

5. Eliminates Stress & anxiety.

Now with all the benefits that transcendental meditation brings, and the fact that Holosync produces the same internal states as this meditation, it would be extremely prudent to try it. The real power of the binaural beats behind the Holosync recordings is that they can be used to induce a meditative state and thus create these changes with no effort whatsoever. All that you need to do is wear stereo headphones, sit or lie down in a relaxing position, close your eyes and allow the audio to do all the work. You only need the discipline to listen to the recordings everyday!

The Binaural Beat market is filling up with manufacturer's who offer some great titles. It is also possible to create your own with the proper software. Unfortunately, here lies the danger! You need an in-depth knowledge of brainwave patterns and their effect on the mind and body in order to create the correct frequencies. There are several forum postings that state the improper use of binaural beat technologies has created negative and even damaging results on some people. For this reason I would not recommend creating your own binaural recordings. Likewise, you should be very careful about where you get your recordings. Seek professional, qualified people who know what they are doing so that you know you are getting a quality product.

Holosync, and the Centerpointe Research Institute, were created in 1989 by Bill Harris, who is a Certified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming and is trained in Ericksonian Hypnosis. He has studied contemporary psychology, quantum mechanical physics, the evolution of non-linear systems and the effects of a wide range of neuro-technologies on human behavioural change, evolution and healing. There are many personal development and self improvement coaches who endorse and personally use the Holosync Solution. You may recognise two of them - James Ray from the movie The Secret and Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

The downside of the Holosync technology is that you need to listen to it everyday to get maximum benefit and it also comes in stages as a course. However, Bill Harris insists that you do not need to continue using it and can stop after each stage of the course is complete while permanently retaining all the changes you've made. You can of course continue and go deeper into the 'meditations' if you wish. The Holosync solution, by Centerpointe, does create deep states akin to meditation and it does remove emotional traumas that are hidden deep in the subconscious mind. In fact it does exactly what it says it will do.

354Holosync - the full review. We tested it. Find out what we discovered. There is also an indepth study of Binaural Beats recordings with a full review of our tests.

Managing Workplace Negativity - Negativists, Whiners and Complainers

"The happiest people are those who are too busy to notice whether they are or not." William Feather

Who are the difficult or negative people in your life? Do you have to work, manage, or live with negativists, whiners and complainers? They are one of the most common difficult personalities in the workforce today. And managing workplace negativity is a skill in itself.

Believe it or not, research shows negativists, also known as whiners and complainers, have a strong need to be liked. They think that by complaining about how much work they have to do, they'll gain empathy from others. Notice how these people often spend more time complaining than working? "Busy doing nothing" is how people describe the whiners and complainers in my leadership training workshops.

It pays to be tactfully direct whether you're managing a whiner in the workplace, or just dealing with a difficult co-worker. For example, consider saying the following to a complainer co-worker, "Chris, I realize this is something you want to discuss, and at the same time I want to make sure I get back to work. It sounds like this situation with so-and-so really bothers you. If I were you, I'd take it up directly with that person. Besides, I'd prefer not to get in the middle of it." Make sure your tone is tactful and polite, yet firm. Usually these whiners and complainers will move on to a more "captive audience."

Managing Workplace Negativity Means Not Allowing The Behavior To Continue:

If you're managing a negative person, address the issue tactfully, yet promptly and directly. For example, say to them privately, "Chris, I want to bring something to your attention. You may not realize it, but when you come in here first thing at 8:00 a.m. and complain about our new policy, it's beginning to look like a lot of negativity. I just wanted to mention it to you because you may not be aware of how you're perceived." They may be fully aware, explain it to them anyway!

As a manager or supervisor, you don't want to be seen as enabling the behavior. Consider the effect it'll have on other people if you don't do anything about it. In managing negativity in the workplace, you have to look at the impact the difficult employee's behavior is having on the morale of others.

If you're managing whiners and complainers, or anyone for that matter, make certain never to criticize via email first. There is no tone or body language in an email message. The written word is often louder than the spoken word. Either meet with the employee in person, or on the phone discussing the issue with them as a live person. Don't leave a message. As a manager or supervisor, you set the standard. If your difficult employee is going to react, better they react to YOU in person, or on the phone, as opposed to everyone else around them in the workplace. You certainly want to leave a paper trail by following up with an email, but don't start off with email.

If you're working with a difficult person, but not directly managing them, remember that negativists want to whine to people who will buy in to what they're complaining, or gossiping about. When that happens, you've now got two individuals feeding off of each other. The people who allow the complainer to take over the conversation feel angry with themselves afterward for allowing it to happen. They sense they enabled the behavior because they're "people pleasers" who can't say no.

If this is you, it pays to practice role-playing with a friend who can give you honest feedback. How did you come across? Were you too tentative or too aggressive? What did your body language and tone of voice say about you? In face-to-face communication, body language accounts for 55% of what others believe about you. Tone of voice accounts for 38% and words only 7%.

In managing workplace negativity, I used to tell my employees to be tactfully direct with a negative, whiner/complainer co-worker. As a manager, I certainly did speak privately with the difficult employee, but my team members also had to do their part. Be careful not to internalize everything these difficult people say to you. Most likely, there is something going on with them. As a result, they've decided to take it out on everyone else! And your employees have a right to come to work and enjoy it.

Consider writing your true feelings about this difficult, negative person in a journal. Make certain to leave it in your car. This is not the kind of documentation you would want them to see! When you arrive home, tear up the pages or burn them. This signals that you are not letting their behavior affect you. Because the person who constantly angers youcontrols you.

Using Your Internal GPS

Back in February of this year the Lord blessed me with a Chrysler 300. One of my favorite parts of having this new car is what is called the GPS or Global Positioning System. This is an onboard computer that is link to 3 satellites. These Satellites can track my location within hundreds of feet. Not only can it track my location, but by programming in a destination that I'm trying to reach it will calculate for me the shortest most direct route for me to get there.

Little do we know, but each of us has what I like to refer to as an Internal GPS System that if given the correct location of the things we desire in life it will take us to them. Instead of having satellites in outer space that tell us our location our Internal GPS is link directly to our emotions. If you want to know where you are at any time all you have to do is simply monitor your emotional state. By monitoring our emotions we can have an exact internal picture of the external reality that we are creating. The law of attraction says that like attracts like. We are not only attracting what we think we are also attracting into our life's what we feel.

We need our GPS systems to be active! The reason that this is so important is because there are some places that you may desire to go in life that you can't get to from the emotional state that you are in! Sadness, depression and loneliness will never lead you to a place of joy and bliss. Your emotional state can determine whether or not you will reach the desired place of your dreams. You have to start from a place that is in harmony with the place you want to go or you will never get there!

The number one way to know that your internal GPS is working and in a locked on state is when you find yourself in a state of. Each person has what author Jack Canfield calls a life purpose. When you find yourself doing things that bring you true joy that emotion is a signal that you are in a locked on position. That means that you know were you are and you are sure of where you desire to go. I have heard it said that your purpose in life is the things that you would gladly do for free! So it goes without saying that the person that is l5B4eading the most naturally fulfilled life would have to be the person that is making a living doing the things in life that gives them the most joy! For me personally, my life purpose would have to be preaching the Gospel and teaching as many people as I can to be successful and productive in life.

The key to your GPS system taking you to all the things that you desire in life starts with correcting your emotional state. I have found that the quickest way to improve my emotional state was for me to define what I desire most out of life. As much as some people would love to make all desires to be wrong, our good desires are in us to keep us from settling for less than what God has created us to be. The car, the house, the financial freedom that I desire are all spiritual signs to remind me of what the word of God has promised and the level of wealth that I have the ability to obtain. I would have to agree with Wallace Wattles, the author of famous book, "The Science of Getting Rich", for God to make wealth available for us and for us to settle for anything less has to be the sin of ungratefulness.

Proper desires always have to have proper moral backing and ground work. Another way to know if your desire is good are bad is to check your emotions. No one can truly find joy in any desire that hurts another person in anyway. I have found that the desires that are most locked on and are allowing my Internal GPS to take me to them a52Fre the once that are directly connected to bringing joy to others.

God came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The scriptures also say that he "Gives us power to Get wealth". Our internal GPS can take us to our wealthy place if we are only willing to take the steps of correcting our emotional state and defining our desires! These actions will place our internal GPS in a lock on position. There may be traffic along the way, hills, back roads and some detours, but know that with commitment, determination and trust in God you will make it!
